Precise micrometers measure the diameter of welding wires

Optical micrometers from Micro-Epsilon are used to monitor the thickness of welding wires. In this respect, the X-Frame measuring system enables continuous diameter inspections. The X-Frames includes two laser micrometers that detect the wire diameter with high resolution and measuring rate. It enables the measurement of different wire thicknesses, and digital interfaces directly transmit the data to the higher-level control system.
